HLC Edge Engine: third-party notices
© 2026 Cipher CTS. All Rights Reserved. (This file describes other people's software; it does not license it.)

NOTHING listed here is included in this package. run_engine.sh installs these packages into a local ./venv from the Python Package Index (PyPI)
and the PyTorch CPU wheel index. Each package keeps its own license, and its full license text is installed inside the package itself
(the *.dist-info folder in ./venv/lib/python*/site-packages/). By installing them you accept their licenses.

Direct requirements (requirements.txt), with the license each package declares in its own metadata for the versions tested with this build:

Package Tested version Declared license Project
  torch 2.14.1 (CPU) BSD-3-Clause (PyTorch license) https://pytorch.org
  numpy 2.5.4 BSD-3-Clause https://numpy.org
  pandas 3.1.0 BSD-3-Clause https://pandas.pydata.org
  fastapi 0.162.0 MIT https://fastapi.tiangolo.com
  uvicorn 0.54.0 BSD-3-Clause https://www.uvicorn.org

Notes:
- These packages in turn install their own dependencies (for example starlette, pydantic and others). Those are licensed under BSD, MIT and other
permissive open-source licenses; see the license files in each installed package. The PyTorch wheel also bundles some third-party components under their own
permissive licenses; their texts are in the installed torch package.
- Versions on your machine may differ (requirements.txt uses minimum versions). The license of the version you install is the one that applies.
- Python itself is licensed under the Python Software Foundation License.

Data:
- NASA C-MAPSS turbofan engine degradation simulation data, subset FD001, is the benchmark data source. It is public NASA data, is NOT included in this package,
and has its own terms and citation requirement. Please cite: A. Saxena, K. Goebel, D. Simon, N. Eklund, "Damage Propagation Modeling for Aircraft Engine
